The Rebbe's Tune (1969)
14"x18" B/W edition 200 Pieces
I remember attending a gallery opening with my parents shortly after The Rebbe's tune was released. In addition to pastels and paintings ( few in number) there were 14 other lithographs on the wall. I watched the patrons stand in front of the Rebbe's Tune and smile. D.S.
"This image has a magical quality. Many times I have looked at this lithograph and heard the joyous sound of the violin. The Rebbe’s tune is for all people who love music and embrace tradition." E.S.
I was fourteen years old when my father pointed to this picture in our home. He asked me if i could hear the music. I said, "yes". I have never stopped hearing the music my father created through his art. It is 56 years later. D.S.
