I Knew Each Stone (1975)

"As one tries to develop as an artist, one forms ideas about artistic growth. In my case, I feel that the written word can sometimes be an integral part of a picture. With my graphics, the picture's name is almost as important as the picture. This piece of work is a good example of what I call 'designed art.' It is a realistic piece, yet I composed it of interlocking shapes plus linear movement - balancing and complementing one another. The background is one of the small, lovely valleys in the Hills of Judea." E.S.
