The original 2nd Ave Deli opened in 1954 on the southeast corner of Second Ave and East 10th Street in the Yiddish Theater District in the East Village in NYC.
The original design for the 2nd Ave Deli was found in a sketchbook of my father’s. (drawn in pastel (1980).
